Boudoir is Not What You Think—Let’s ClearSome Things Up
Let’s be real—when some people hear boudoir photography, their minds go straight to… well, something very different from what actually happens in my studio. So let’s clear up a few myths, shall we?
MYTH #1: “Boudoir is Just for People Who Already Feel Confident”
Ohhh, no. In fact, most of my clients walk in nervous—and that’s normal. They don’t feel like models, they don’t know how to pose, and they’re definitely worried about looking awkward. And you know what? By the time we’re done, they’re feeling like THAT girl. Every single time. Boudoir isn’t about showing off confidence you already have—it’s about finding it. And trust me, it’s in there. I promise.
MYTH #2: “Boudoir Means Getting Naked”
Listen, if you want to, cool. If not? Also cool. Boudoir is about what makes you feel amazing Lingerie, oversized sweaters, a robe slipping off the shoulder, even a full-on dress—sexy is so much more about attitude than how much skin you’re showing.
MYTH #3: “I Need to Be ‘Ready’ First”
Nope. There is no magical finish line where you’ll suddenly wake up and feel 100% “ready.” You don’t need to lose weight, tone up, get a spray tan, or learn how to pose in front of a mirror. The version of you right now is the one who deserves this experience. Period.
MYTH #4: “It’s Just for Brides”
Sure, bridal boudoir is amazing. But boudoir is for anyone who wants to celebrate themselves. Newly single? Turning 30, 40, 50? Just feeling like you want a confidence boost? There is never a wrong time to invest in yourself.
MYTH #5: “I’ll Have No Idea What to Do”
Good news: That’s my job. I guide you through everything—poses, expressions, even what to do with your hands. You won’t be left standing there like “uhhh help.” I make sure you look stunning, effortlessly.
